ntvc is taking singers to norway!

We’re thrilled to share that 11 members of our choir will be traveling to Norway to take part in a truly once-in-a-lifetime choral experience: The Music of Ola Gjeilo, a destination festival with Ola Gjeilo, and Dr. Irene Messoloras.

This international workshop brings singers together from around the world to rehearse and perform the stunning, cinematic music of Ola Gjeilo — with the composer himself in attendance. Hosted in Oslo, the experience culminates in a gala performance at the Oslo Concert Hall, singing with a live orchestra.

If you know our choir, you know just how much we love and admire the works of Gjeilo. This opportunity will allow our singers to grow musically, experience the culture and landscapes that inspire Gjeilo’s music, and bring that learning and inspiration back to our local music community.

Travel like this comes with significant costs, and we’re reaching out to our friends, families, community groups, and local businesses for support. If you’re able to contribute, your donation — big or small — will directly help cover travel and workshop expenses for our travelling singers.
