ntvc sngers in norway!

In June of 2026 11 members of our choir travelled to Norway to take part in a truly once-in-a-lifetime choral experience: The Music of Ola Gjeilo, a destination festival with Ola Gjeilo, and Dr. Irene Messoloras.

This international workshop brought singers together from around the world to rehearse and perform the stunning, cinematic music of Ola Gjeilo — with the composer himself. Hosted in Oslo, the experience culminated in a gala performance at the Oslo Concert House, singing with a live orchestra.

This opportunity will allowed our singers to grow musically, experience the culture and landscapes that inspires Gjeilo’s music, and to bring that learning and inspiration back to our local music community.
